Luca García (2002, Extremadura, Spain)
I grew up in the countryside of Zafra, in the southwest of Spain. Since I can remember, I’ve been in love with artistic creation—not as an activity, but as a way of feeling alive. Sharing my work with others is what makes this long journey worth it.

Origins

I started welding at thirteen. Life in nature filled my mind with ideas, and I began shaping them through three-dimensional sculptures made from steel rebars—materials I could bend and weld even without much strength.

A year later, my first public exhibition set my artistic path in motion. Since then, I’ve continued to grow through new exhibitions, commissions, and recognitions, including the JABA International Art Prize.

My passion lives in the workshop, where each sculpture slowly finds its form and, eventually, its place with someone who feels connected to it.

Now a days I feels grateful to everyone who believes in my work.
